I thought today was Friday, but it is Saturday!!!

I was SO excited last night when I found out that it was Friday night! Of course I missed the anticipation normally felt on a Friday for "the almost, but not quite weekend" feelings, but once I found out that it was Friday night I delighted in that Friday night feeling, that is I stayed up late. And now it is Saturday. I will be able to spend all day with Grandpapa and generally muddle around without time deadlines. Here you are exploring, another great Saturday activity.

And, maybe I will be able to see you via webcam today or tomorrow! I don't think you are old enough to love weekends yet, though maybe with the advent of "big girl school" you know the feeling and just cannot articulate it at this time! See you soon! Texas Heat

Dear Stella,

Aren't the fall colors in the photo beautiful? I love autumn. It is still very hot here in Texas! We had a cool front the other day and it only reached 98 degrees. Can you imagine that? Let us know what it is like there. Talk to you soon.

Dear Stella,

It is such a pleasure to see photos of you in your new blue sweater! You look so pretty. I found a booklet this past week with several more cute sweater patterns. I can't wait to start knitting another one for you, but first I need to know what color you would like this time!

Panda Purse

Dear Stella,

Today I was looking through my toy box, which is really the box I keep toys in for visiting children, and guess what I found?

Yes! A Panda Bear purse! How could I have ever known that you would have a hat to match? What was I thinking? Perhaps the mail person will be making a delivery to your house soon. I would hate for a girl to go without such a vital accessory.
